Fuel pricing - time to take that tough decision?

my e63s was running on steam so filled up fully at local Esso. £1.819 for 99 Ron. £141.90 for a full tank. Madness really.

I went from Gravesend (£hithole) to the centre of Bromley (pseudo posh) and the probably went past 10 petrol stations. The price at Gravesend Asda was £1.59 per litre and steadily rose each one I went past on the A21. In central Bromley the last on I went past was £1.97 a litre !!!! Go figure 🤷‍♂️
Was it the BP on Widmore Road? I never use that.

Diesel is out in a few places now around N. Devon apparently, and on the IOW (according to Wave105) its scarce (not that you need a diesel on the IOW unless you drive a van really....)

Something to do with China withholding an ingredient? Anyone else heard this???

Chris, the car dealer in the village sold all three of his diesel cars off his forecourt this week when he had had little interest to date (local barbers shop is the source of all useful info!)
People thinking more about mpg again.....?

Last night in the rural Midlands it was 178.9p for Shell diesel, 176.9p for Shell VPower unleaded, and 165.9p for Shell unleaded. Quite remarkable to see diesel more expensive than VPower unleaded.

If fuel costs are a big consideration then perhaps an E63 isn’t the right car for you? 🤷‍♂️

@clk320x I was merely stating facts and where do I say that fuel cost is a consideration... Just because someone can afford fuel prices of that magnitude doesn't mean one has to like it.

Any 181.9 is so last week - we are at 189.9 here now for Esso 99 RON.

No, you're quite right you don't have to like it... but sadly there's nothing we can do to change it sadly. :(
