Hi Guys
I know a lot was said in the past about ecotech but what was the final surmise? My wallet is really getting hammered by my fuel bills and I would like any suggestions to economise. I have my car serviced regulary and so hopefully it is as effecient as poss.
Thanks
Pete

Hi

No idea about ecotech but how about a LPG conversion. Last week I went past a fuel station which sold it for 27p per litre?

I tried the Ecotech on my last car, a C180, I can honestly say it didnt work for me and it did affect the brakes. This was not acceptable to me so I removed it.

Others here use them so perhaps they have better results.

In reality I don't see how they can work as all they do is introduce a controlled air leak into the manifold. Sure the mixture will lean off when cruising, but it will anyway.

There must also be the danger of the mixture going too lean and burning the valves.

You pays your money.......
