Hi I was wondering if its possible to modify the full closure so i dont have to point the key at the lock?

Basically it would be nice if it would latch closed... i could get out the car and press lock and walk away rather than having to stand at the lock for 2 minutes whilst everything closes.

Also pointing and pressing at the lock doesnt even work everytime so sometimes i have to get back in and use the switches? lol

You have to fix the car if it takes 2 minutes to close windows and the sunroof. The same if your key does not work always (could be the IR sensor at the door).

even if it worked everytime i wouldnt want to stand there whilst the roof and windows closed.

For me Ideally it would be latched, one point and press and i can walk off

Your only option at the moment is to have an aftermarket alarm fitted that has a total closure function.

I fancied this myself as I'd like total closure without having to point the IR at the car, plus it would potentially fold the door mirrors in when locked and put on the sidelights for 30 seconds like you get on a new MB :) . All options on Clifford alarms, among others.

i dont think i can get folding mirrors onto mine but the lights stay on etc.

id be tempted to fit an alarm however im really happy with the current alarm setup minus the closure! guess i will just leave it then

Agreed, does seem to be a bit silly however. I also assumed that it would latch.
