As the Saab museum has been saved, some guys dressed up the Ursaab, the very first Saab, outside the museum! :)

Soat least some good is going on in the world. The loss of any car museum would be a shame, glad this one is saved. Now. Saab GB on the other hand...

Interesting.
So what will the business analyst say.

They did not shift enough metal.

So were they too quirky or tried to follow the mainstream and lost their individuality

Yes. My local dealer, who were really good and very friendly, sadly went into administration a couple of weeks ago. I'm stuck with the local Vauxhall dealer now!

But, it does look as if there is some (tiny) hope for a Saab rebirth..... watch this space... :)

Not will - did. And what was said was that GM were pig ignorant of what they had and fuct it good.

By the time Saab engineers realised the GM parts foisted on them weren't what they wanted or needed they set about, at some considerable expense, to develop their own parts - which outraged GM.
Now Chinese firms want to buy Saab but GM wont grant them licenses. Without the licenses, there's nothing. GM's behaviour throughout is shameful.
