gas conversion E55 possible ????

Whilst I think it's technically possible, I'm just not sure a forced induction engine lends itself to LPG fuel.

The savings created in reduced fuel costs would likely be sucked up in the future by an expensive mechanical failure.

There are lots of Volvo T5's, Audi's and the like out there on gas and tuned in to the mid 300bhp's, so as long as the installer knows his onions there really shouldn't be any issues with going down the LPG route and you'll save lots of money on fuel.

I'm pretty sure there's a good LPG installer out Malton way (check on the RR forums) and that's not too far from you...

Don't do it, buy a diesel.

Doing a gas conversion on a v8 amg is pointless and will devalue the car no end.

sell it and buy a diesel mate, don't ruin a good car!
