GEARBOX OIL CHANGE

Hello All
One of the last jobs to do on my new to me ML270, is to have gearbox oil and filter changed. I do not propose to do this myself. Car has done 36,000 (yes, genuine 14 year old car with 36,000 miles) so i do not know if oil ever been changed. All service receipt just say "service done" or "major service done" (well along those lines anyway). So, its due to be done and i would like it done for peace of mind.

QUESTION, can anyone recommend a decent independent Mercedes garage in my area ( East Sussex, and Kent boarders, Hastings or Ashford are nearest towns) I really do not want to pay for a dealer coffee machine and comfy seating area !!!!!!!!!.
I really want to take it to someone who knows what they are doing and cares about what they are doing.

I can highly recommend Terry at Wayne Gates in Harrow or Olly at PCS in Horndean.... though both are further afield.

I can recommend rivervale in Brighton, still pricey but not main dealer price and I have always had an excellent service.

Thanks, will bear in mind, has anyone ever heard of a company called STEVENSON'S, they are near PADDOCK WOOD, TONBRIDGE ?
