Be fair, he did say one of the best engines...not the best.

Off topic but related to the 6.2, good to see the new GT3 is sticking with it rather than moving to the smaller turbo one in the road car.

If you've never stood next to the track when one goes past at full tilt you haven't lived...nothing comes close this side of a Second World War German bomber...a whole group of them going past between the pits and the grandstand and you'd swear you were in the Blitz, make the Lambos, McClarens, Porsches etc sound limp in comparison.

Thanks again everyone for the comments! Now it is the week I am back on my other vehicle which goes faster than the AMG (in London..) which is a 125cc scooter. The mpg is slighty better too...

He is OK..........the exhaust on the Scooter is plumbed directly into his crash helmet
