Update:

Okay, so I complained to the company who carried out the MOT and passed it, as there's no way it should have passed. Missing wheel nuts, washer jets not working, illegal reg plates etc. They wanted to test it again, afterwhich it failed on a lot of items as well as a large list of advisories! All four tyres, corrosion on the exhaust, track rod ends, parking brake, washer jets, high level stop light, discoloured indicators, plus a few other items. To say I was annoyed is an understatement! However, as a gesture of goodwill, the company said I could book the car into a garage of my choosing to have ALL the jobs fixed and then they agreed to pick up the bill!!!! Car was booked in today.....practically everything sorted out, just awaiting on a couple of items which are on back order from MB.

What can I say....amazing customer service or what!!?????
