Alfie said:Personally i would locate in the middle of the dash on the underside of it (the dash). so long as it has a clear view through glass or plastic it will work fine. the signal does not penetrate metal. A couple of pieces of that sticky velcro from robert Dyas/B+Q etc will hold it.
Mine is tywrapped to the upper side of the steel crossbar behind my glove box.
SportsCoupeRich said:assumed that velcro to the dash would be best but wondered if it was worth the routing to the back of the car. I reckon not!
You assume correctly, unless you think you can get the antenna between the cluster and the dash without removing the cluster?SportsCoupeRich said:i assume the cluster also has to be romoved?
That will only work if you have a panoramic roof or the sunroof is open! Maybe I could interest you in a hands-free solution such as a GPS hat?SportsCoupeRich said:i dont thin i can shude!
Maybe i'll just hold it above my head when driving...thats what autos are for.

the GPS signal will pass through plastics and fabrics without problem, unless it's a chainmail hoodie you should have no problems with itSportsCoupeRich said:how much is said hat? Will it work if i have a 'hoodie' on?
as long as it doenst make me look ridculous i'll take one....
