I’d never buy a car that has a wrap. As you say, who knows what it is hiding and even if the paint was perfect when it went on, there will probably be knife cuts in the paint unless the installer was top class.Not a lot of money if that car is straight. The wrap is what makes it so striking but it’s also likely to put many people off because you just don’t know what it’s hiding. Without it though it wouldn’t stand out as being so special. Tricky for the seller to know whether to remove it or not before sale, and this confirms it.
