Think this was from 2011 but could be wrong, found it a bit back when organizing my magazines.

This is obviously the other RHD car (being 54k mile), but even then, wonder what something like this’ll fetch nowadays.! (Obviously subject to condition)

I remember this car and have seen it several times, this is the other Sultan's car and has been in the UK a long time. No bodykit and 3 piece OZ split rims.

Charles Ironside didn't sell the car very quickly and reduced it several times, think it sold for £35k in the end.

Lets remember the Sultan got what he wanted and would pay for it. RHD cars when only LHD examples were made, complete one offs, unique colour combinations, modified examples etc etc.

In regards to the SL73 currently being auctioned there are things which are correct and things which aren't. The car has been marketed well and will sell to a collector who will buy the car for the rarity factor alone. I know of the car so will be interesting to see what the car achieves.

I would hazard a guess that's the highest ever price for any R129.
