Group 20 Insurance

Well, all credit to Elephant. Their renewal has come in at £655. Considering £27 of this is for a guaranteed hire vehicle, which the A-Plan quote does not include, I shall be staying with Elephant and not even quibbling over the quote.

They must have been confident as they have already sent through the insurance certificate!

Nice to be pleasantly surprised for once! :D

When I was with elephant my renewal was good, but when I phoned up to accept I thought i'd be cheaky and see "if there is anything they could do" and they knocked some more off....worth a shot me thinks.

Good tip.

I just saved £55. One friendly phone call and the price dived to £600.00 no questions asked! :bannana: :bannana: :bannana:

Just renewed my insurance ...

Last year £1049

This year £875 :bannana: :bannana:

Exactly the same cover level but increased mileage to 15,000, and also 1 SP30 conviction since cover taken last year. Different insurance co -- Groupama

Same A Plan people, they

I was with Tesco for a number of years, am now with ASDA! £440

these are the things that IMO make the most difference, ive actually changed bits on the same quote to prove it!

- AGE
- LOCATION (londons bad!)
- GARAGE
- ALARM

there are more factors, those are the only ones ive tried changing in the past to test the quote!

Garaged c36 in eastlondon\essex is roughly £150 more than a garaged C36 in colchester!

Morning,
Well done, and I am pleased to hear that you aregoing to get such a wonderful car.

What do you think has put the loading onto the vehicle.

Is it:
1) Location?
2) The Underground parking?
2) Your age?

Or do you have minor problems with your licence. Forgive me for being curious, but it is sadly part of my make-up. (I'm a nosey b*gg*r) can't spell beggar

Regards,
John
Now dreaming of owning a CL65AMG

better get the rolls royce out of the swimming pool first .......bite my tongue.. oh gob be still ;)

Great Deal

Had great problems getting a decent deal on my 55 AMG. Called all the main companies but got frustrated with the telesales, push buttons and talking to a computer. Came across these guys on the web www.noeldazely.co.uk. They gave me a cracking deal and were nice friendly professional people to deal with. Definitely worth giving them a call, see what they can do for you.

A-Plan just come up trumps for me this time (group 20) - £490.

Noel Dazely second best, but £550.

Dont worry about the insurance, with that right pedal being as addictive as heroin its the fuel cost you wanna worry about, the 55`s are notoriously thirsty, suggest hooking up with a lady very high up in BP/Esso/Shell

I too live in a London postcode which is amongst the highest risk group in the UK. I had a CLK 55, parked in a residential car park, insured fully comp for business class 2, with a 25,000 mile limit.

I went with Admiral and got the price to 850, with a 250 excess. This was 2 years ago.

I also have a clean license, and IAM (which admiral do recognise).

It will be pricey, but 1200 seems excessive to me given your record. Having said that - I can't see it being much lower.

Good luck. Oh, btw I had no tracker fitted either.
