Group Buy of Isoft CR Pro ($$ Discount)

Have you got the ignition on in position 2, i.e. full accessories and warning lights position?

Martin.

Car running
Might be worth trying with ignition on/engine not running. My S211 will scan and clear some modules with ignition completely off, but gives the error you see on many others until the ignition is in ACC/RUN position. I would not be surprised if diagnosis is disabled with engine running, as the various modules are now actually focused on running the car, but I have not tried this on my 211 to check.

Other simple check is that the car diag socket end of the iCarSoft lead is fully home.

Just 'chatted' with the retailer now and its being delivered this afternoon.:)
Hopefully not during the school run though, so I can take it to Devon and play - although with the rain being not stop in Torbaydos, we may not brave it.

Driving down in Storm Denis tomorrow morning will be eventful.....:wallbash:

Ooh..........a few question's need to be asked....and answered!!!

Very strange, worked OK on the W211 E55, tried it on the other W212 E250 and ok.

Then went back to the original W212 E250 and it worked.
First time I tried re-seating the plug a few times, in-out etc. and checked both ends.

Battery was a bit low on the first try as car had lay for a while, I'm saying that was culprit rather than something I did. :)

I've just tried it on my W203 C200 CDI. Even though it asked if it's Diesel or Gasoline and I told it Diesel, it reports the car as 'spark ignition'. Thinking about it, so does my old cReader vi. Wierd.

I too got the 'link error, please check...' message on many systems I know I have such as air conditioning, ESP and BAS, both with and without the engine running. I tried a few times more and one or two then came online. I did a Smart Scan which found 16 of the 27 possible modules including many which the manual scan couldn't, which sounds about right as I don't have Distronic or L&R headlamp levelling for instance.

No current faults, lots of historic ones mostly along the lines of "A not talking to B" then "B not talking to A", which I suspect are all tied in to low/flat batteries. I cleared them all and will check again in a little while.

Is the CR Pro a V1.0 series, V2.0 series, Second generation or whatever? I want to download the correct user manual (the one supplied has the world's tiniest print ;)) but can't see CR Pro specifically listed under any of the manuals here

Try taking a mobile phone photo and use the photo to zoom to suit your vision.

Had a quick look at the dpf option but it doesn't list the W205 C series only W204.

Updated to the latest version.

Anybody else noticed this?

Heads up guys an gals.
Just been onto ljmdirect and they inform me the discount will most likely be ending tomorrow evening so get your orders in.

Do I order one or just keep my Delphi Autocom. Whilst I have to pull a laptop out for it it seems perfect at what it does!

Bugga

Didn't get chance (life gets on the way, along with red wine....)

Day off to travel from Devon. Will try tomorrow night (the update at least) and if I can screen grab, I will

I am a bit disappointed with this. Tried it on MrsM's 2005 Ford Focus 1.6. Doesnt do the Airbags so cannot check the seat occupancy error.
But, flagged up a few things. Turbo Actuator Control and Electric Power Assist. Both at fault. Now I wonder when she went out and added a turbo to her little run around?

I would contact the seller and ask advice. The ford model gets good reviews so I'm surprised the pro doesn't work ok.
