Group Buy of Isoft CR Pro ($$ Discount)

Hi Ian & everyone else,

I've been registered on the forum for some time & have only just spotted this (I'll go and introduce myself in the appropriate spot).
Just like to say thank you for organising this & I would also like to add my name & order one & get the numbers up.

I have S210 320cdi from 2002 with just short of 240k miles (mostly mine) & am wondering about the wisdom of 'doing it up' / buying something newer or a v.good 124 estate, pref 220 petrol as now do few miles.

Rob

Right sorry about the slow update. It seems Gmail has eaten some of the emails, which is causing the confusion.

So originally we would have needed 60 people to get the £175 price. (plus p&P)

As we've got approximately 20, they have agreed still a cracking deal.

£199 including p&P.

Full price is £246 + p&p so this is a £57 or nearly 23% discount.

Please post that you have ordered in here. There may be a slight delay in the first units posting, as I should imagine they want to make sure I'm not pulling a fast one on them and trying to get a deal on one.

any questions shout.

PS If we do hit 50 orders, then we will get a refund of £10 each bringing the price down by a tenner.

Hope everyones happy with that, mine is ordered.

Ian

Suggest you need to get in an order. About 20 have been ordered, however the codes will close either today or Sunday (end of the week could be interpreted as either) So far everyone's been happy, the units are good, the support has been good, there's been a few questions which to my knowledge have been answered and in one case as a bonus the unit fitted a turbo to the car of the wife!

Thanks Ian,

I've put the order in now & look forward to receiving it soon, had to look twice, thought you'd fitted a turbo to your wife, not her car!

Nope. Not my wife! (not my car either)

You should have looked 3 times and realised it was Mark not Ian lol

I am a bit disappointed with this. Tried it on MrsM's 2005 Ford Focus 1.6. Doesnt do the Airbags so cannot check the seat occupancy error.
But, flagged up a few things. Turbo Actuator Control and Electric Power Assist. Both at fault. Now I wonder when she went out and added a turbo to her little run around?

If we have queries on identifying our precise model (I am still not absolutely certain based on one of two options on the Cr Pro) I am suspecting that the cumulative and MB centric knowledge here will surpass what the retailer knows, so here goes....

On the reader I have the option of (on the E207 coupe) of
207.357 - E 350CGI BlueEFFICIENCY Coupe
or
207.359 - E 350 BlueEFFICIENCY Coupe

How, from the V5 (and Spec list and VIN) do I identify which one relates to mine? It may make no difference, but then if might....
Await your thoughts please

If admin think we should start a separate / new thread for such user queries, please create and let me know if its in a different section

Cheers

PS - Works fine on a diesel Nissan Qashqai - finding the fault code the garage also id'd on recent Service, but we decided to leave alone as its just an O2 sensor. I was able to clear it though

Ah - hang on, its the Chassis number (I think) - well the first 6 digits of the WDD Chassis number
I was focussed on the engine and other details, not the body....

Do you agree?

Do you agree?

The VIN on my 2010 E class is as follow's : WDD2120052A ( then actual chassis nr). So when I'm entering the ID detail's into the iCarsoft, I select make : mercedes. Model : E class, then 005 212. And thats it.

Mine arrived on Saturday, shot out to the car & couldn't find the OBD2 port, after looking on google I see it's in the fuse box under the bonnet & is a round 38 pin connection so ordered an adapter cable (not from ljmdirect as they only had a fixed converter plug & I wanted a cable to reach into the car so I could sit inside) from UKpartsdirect another icarsoft dealer, it's described as MB diagnostic cable 38 pin to 16 pin OBD2 adapter lead, which arrived this morning & is just the right length, all plugged in, powered up, tried to do a scan & it failed to link, tried a couple of times and updated software.

Contacted the seller of the adapter cable this morning & am awaiting their promised call back.

Any ideas apart from a duff adapter, the W210 is listed and appears to have a full list of modules to check (32) so I am assuming it would work??

Rob

Never heard of that connection for diagnostics
Intrigued (and off to Google it......)

You will need a specific iCarsoft adaptor - generic ones will not work unfortunately.

LJM will be ordering some from iCarsoft when they order next.

iCarsoft actually do two 38-pin adapters - a black one that will only access the engine ECU and a red one that will access all systems.

Some Ebay links for reference are below (no affiliation):

Thanks for that,

Being Ebay I wondered if they could just be the usual copies or genuine articles, also if an extension link cable would work so I can use it inside the cabin as the cable supplied is a bit short

Thanks to Ian I have purchased one at the discount price :) I will try out at the weekend.

Hi, I’m interested. Its still available at the discounted price?
