Had my air con regassed today and serviced...(pics)

Local Merc dealer, Tony Purslow, sent a mailshot last week offering full air con service. Cost was £150

They sent me a voucher for a free aircon check:

• antibacterial decontamination
• performance test
• recharge coolant

I'm planning to have it when I book the car in for its free MOT

Other vouchers in the pack include £20 off next service and 15% off accessories. Also (less useful IMO) free "winter check", free "peace of mind" check, and 10% off tyres.

The new site was due to open yesterday, assuming all went to schedule!

Would an air con service cure the bad egg smell that I get , mainly when first started. I used one of the anti fungal sprays twice but the smell has come back.

Mine often smells like bad eggs/urine would having the aircon serviced resolve this?
