Had software update. Good or bad?

Hi All

I had the recall software update to my 2011 S350 CDi Bluetec W221. Already a new code has appeared-U029D. What else can I expect to happen and the consequences?

The car will need a new NOx sensor, maybe two. It's a common issue after the Dieselgate software update. Take it to the dealer asap - it's an expensive repair and you don't want to end up incurring the cost. If they agree to replace the NOx sensors FOC but don't have them in stock, ask for written confirmation that the car can be driven in the meantime. Also, if there's an EML on, you want it fixed before the next MOT is due. Good luck.
