you can get a bluetooth cradle so that you can use a bluetooth phone.

I got one of these from eBay (MB SAP v2, no longer made):

Two versions of MB - SAP and HFP

SAP uses car arial, and often provides SMS etc. Can be fussy about handsets - Nokia tend to work well.

HFP uses phones arial and puts phone on Hands Free Profile. Tends to work better with non Nokia. Phone book download can be a pest on some handsets. Phone battery will not last as long.

i put the visseo into one of mine, works perfectly...

ViseeO | The Best Mercedes Bluetooth Car Kit
Got the viseeo(from the link above)all working ok,does anyone know if you should unclip it when leaving the car or can you leave it docked without draining the car battery, also does the viseeo unit pair with the sim or the phone itself as i want to change the phone but put my existing simcard into the new phone?(thanks for any info/help)

You can leave it clipped in. ViseeO pairs with the phone so if you change phone you just need to pair the new phone with the ViseeO.

Thanks for the help npuk, answers both my questions:thumb:

And don't forget the MBclub discounts .. (see member offers)

New about the member offers thanks the viseeo i bought was the cheapest anywhere i've seen though;)

Noticed earlier that even when the ignition is switched of the lights on the viseeo cradle stay on(even when you try the power off button on the viseeo cradle it turns itself back on),will this drain the battery or cause a problem:dk:

It should shut down when the phone system shuts down, which is not immediately.

Leave the glovebox lid up and look through the window after about 20 mins

We did once (in the early days) have a case of a Viseeo staying on and draining the battery. I can't remember whether this was a software version issue, or a hardware problem with that unit.

Hi,

this seems to suggest a cradle is already connected. How costly would it be to connect from scratch and what would be the best solution without going the the stealers?
