Ml 350 2011. I have tested my headlight washers and although they extend out the front no water comes out. Tank is full. Can't see any leaks... If the washing nozzles extend does this mean the pump is working or does this mean there blocked? Thanks

I think head light washers are pretty useless, need wipers as of old with glass lenses worked well.
Are washers a MOT requirement?

Don't think they are an MOT requirement but if they are fitted then they must work AFIK

I think they are required on 2009 cars onward with Xenon (HID?) and must work. My 2006 has them but not MoT-able.
I may be mistaken.

I think it’s an old MOT requirement, if fitted must work.
Back in early 90s I had a 1972 BMW E3 (for runner of 7 series) failed MOT on non working after market rear fog lights. I removed the lights and it passed.
