Heated Seat (not working) - 54 A Class

I have had my A-Class about 5-6 Weeks and the heated seats have been working a charm. About a week ago the bottom panel (the seat, not the back) stopped working.

Can anybody give me any advice on how to fix this? or any common problems?

Where did you buy it from, private or trade? If trade, you should be able to get fixed under warranty.

Otherwise, I would imagine the heating matrix has failed or possibly a connection has broken. Therefore, it would probably need replacing

I bought the car from a dealer, but the dealer only gives a one month warranty.
I took out extended Warranty with the AA but they don't cover it.

How expensive would it be to replace the bottom part?
Im wondering if the plug has just been pulled out?

The trader has to legally give a three month warranty - a one month doesn't wash!!

Can anyone clarify?

Maybe work checking around under the seat and checking all the electrical connections - just be careful of the airbag connector!
