i have a cl500 2001 the heater is blowing nice and hard on high but there is no heat coming out from vents and if you put it on cold nothing comes out of vents but you can here it blowing any help please

more to tell right when the heater is turned up all the way you can get a little bit of warm air air out but looks like the other settings are not blowing anything out got in car today there was some damp on windscreen but blower on to it took ages for it to clear it any one got any ideas

A faulty thermostat will cause heating issues. Is your engine temperature running at the recommended level? If it's low then this is likely to be the cause.

does your interior heater work on all speed settings or just highest speed ????

can only here it on high speed but only blows a little bit of air out of vents if i turn it down dont seem to feel anything coming out been told it could be the vents not opening you got any ideas also the rear window will noy clear

Has all of the symptoms of a blocked cabin/pollen filter.
No idea where it is on yours, but a google should help
Prove it by just removing the filter and using the system without it.

changed cabin fillters heater great on full lots coming in soon as you turn it down nothing if you put it on auto nothing any ideas also rear demist not working

I think I have similar/same problem. Not much power coming from my heater. Car is CLK 200K, W209, year 2006.
Settings go from 0 to 6 on circular dial, in half step increments. I closed off all vents except central dashboard, turned direction dial to dashboard, ran the car for a while.

Thing is, I get no power really coming through until I hit 3 1/2 -> 4 on the dial. I only hear it also at this stage. Any suggestions to why this is so? Should I expect a dribble of heat coming out of heater until I turn dial well past half way?
