Hello all...Manchester ML newbie looking for advice

Hello all
I'm Rob and I'm on a hunt for a ML270, but I'm finding it very hard to find a decent one around X,Y 51!

I'm based in Manchester but have and will travel if anyone knows of one for sale?

I need the family pack 7 seat variant although I've been informed they all take the 3rd row if you can find the extra seats and belts for sale, is this correct

I know they are getting on a bit.... but I've looked at one's with FMBSH low miles and I've lost count of the number of "MINT!" ones.

The one thing they all have in common is rust in varying amounts, more so silver ones? I thought MB had a 30yr warranty on the bodywork??

Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated

I'm hoping to see the 7 seater above tomorrow it's in Skipton.....Was going today, but I saw just what I was looking for in Doncaster.....Silver 7 black leather seats and good spec.
Set off early only to get a text 1/2 way there the guy had had a bust up with his other half and she'd done one in it!!!
So carried onto Nottingham to see this one!

+ brackets for the seats to mount on, hooks to hold seats in upright position,

opening side windows &....

Just buy one with the extra seats already in place.

Well the deed is done and cash has changed hands!
So I will soon be the proud owner of a 99 ML320 FMBSH on 129k last service 122.5k
A bit older than I was looking for and it's not a 270 BUT!
We know the owner and why it's for sale as it is, it's been thoroughly checked and its a very good price

It does need a little work to bring it back to A1... rear discs, pads, and exhaust for it's MOT. It's getting new fluids and filters in the engine and box. Plus its going in to a great body shop to get the small bit of rust on the OS rear arch done properly.

Got a bit of a wait as I would like most of it done before I get it home.
It's being delivered to my friends for the servicing and a detail and then to another friends garage for brakes, exhaust and MOT.
Should hopefully have it for next weekend

I got the parts from GSF as ECP wanted £150 + vat just for discs and pads!

Discs £65 each discounted to £22.50
Pads £67 discounted to £21.50
Oil £35
Filter £5.95
Plugs £31.44

Grand total inc vat £167.39

Cat back exhaust from Equip £128 fitted!!!!!

A little time spent googling and some phone calls has saved me a few £££££
