Hello everyone,

I am looking for some advice please, I'm trying to help my Mother who lives in England find a new car, which is not easy as I live Near Calgary!
My Mum likes the X Type Jag, and also the CLK, I would rather her get the CLK, but I've heard of rust and electronic problems with some Mercedes, so what would be the major issues if any to look out for.
I forgot to say that new to her will be probably be a 2005/2006 model year car.

Which engine in the CLK are you looking at?

It's a 280, she only does 3-4000 miles per year so fuel economy isn't top of her list.
