Hello from Wiltshire

Just joined up and thought id do the customary "Hello"
Just picked up a 2.0 190 Manual car in a bit of a mess . Always loved them and it was at a price I couldn't refuse - Looks like a pimps car as its white with a full Zender kit on it including the SEC front , Interior is Mushroom with Green carpets etc . Someone has fitted H&R suspension in the past and its a bit too low but Hey ho .....
Just having a bit of fun with a car I've always loved .
I own a VW and Porsche restoration Company so this will be done in a bit of spare time in the workshop .
Loving it so far !!!

Interesting, looks ok from the front, and i have always liked the zender kit.

What plans do you have for it?

My son has a 190e manual, that is very very low

It came to me as a non runner - Mot Failure .
I have had it for 3 weeks and have sorted most of it .
New screen , CV joint , Ball joints , Exhaust , Got it running , rebuilt carb , Lights repaired the rear bumper and painted it along with the boot and the spoiler .
as well as a few other bits .
I got an MOT on Thursday and I just want to get it running a bit better - Need to adjust idle and get a fuel cut off solenoid .
I have a little plan to paint the sides like a german Police car , Its never going to be a show car or anything other than a bit of a giggle so I thought it would be fun to run it as a ratty low german police car - The green stripe would go with the green interior .
Probably sounds stupid but its a bit of fun . I can use it as a rolling advert for my business .

I think Restoration is stretching the truth somewhat - Just getting it back on the road and having some fun .
I have far too many full on projects to take on another !
