Hello.
I found the bit on our drive and the Gle is the only car I park there - the bit I found was about 4 feet in from the pavement. (judging by this I'm 99.9% sure
its from my car)
As the title says, it's about 2 inches long and looks slightly like a rive head, but it is a think, wire, silver cable.
No warning lights on the dash and drove it up and down our road and reversed several times and turned on and off the electric parking brake -
all seems to be working. Uses brakes to stop quickly from about 20mph as well - all seems fine
Car is a 2016, 250d GLE had from new with just over 23k miles on the odometer.
