Hello to CLK55!

It's a nice car to live with so far. I've been driving an MGF for a few years and the ride in that is boneshaking in comparision to the 55. The steering has a good weight at speed and the cars drives straight.

It's more economical than i was expecting, if you can ever describe a V8 as economical. It does better on a run than an RX8. Only get the low 10's in traffic, but over 30mpg on a run. Filled up the tank and travelled 330 miles before filling up and that was before the fuel light came on, with the needle sitting just below 1/4.

My top tip would be to also check the condition of your front brake discs. MB have heavily discounted the price on these in the last few weeks so if you're likely to need some don't delay and stock up - they are something like 75% cheaper than they used to be!

No idea - but IIRC the 208 CLK55 uses the same front discs as W202 C43 and W210 E55 - they used to be about £220/240 a disc - you can now get a pair for about half of that amount!
