I am asking for some advise for my dad, He drives a 1999 c230 estate manual kompressor sport which I drove for the first time the other day, Is there anything that can be done with the gear linkage? I thought it was very slack and was a big shift? also the engine response I thought was slow, Dont get me wrong it was quick when got going but I thought the pick up was pretty poor for such a big engine. Has anyone remaped or chipped theres?. I have to admit to be coming from the dark side ( e36 m3 ) so maybe this is the norm for these mercs??
