Help with the info system

Hi Everyone
I have recently bought a C350e plug in hybrid and I'm having problems with the info system. It takes an age to get the sat nav to work, very laggy, I select something and it jumps after quite a few seconds. Just for instance, I select sat nav, then a couple of minutes, it decides to come on, I press OK and that decides to take a minute or so. Then, it takes forever to type in the post code. Can anyone help me out with an idea or two?

I overcame the typing in thingy by using the map on Mercedes me. Much better and quicker (it uses Google Maps).
