Thanks for the welcome nice car yeah i'm just changing it in sept
so I can put my new plate on. 60 series plate,
looking at a 350 coupe might be a bit small lol

Hi and welcome....nice car :thumb: Didn't think the 60 plate was out yet..

Meaningless on anything other than a W113 - which , of course , it can never appear on .

Plate is mis-spaced too .

It isn't of course.:dk:

So where did this one come from, or is it made up?:dk:
i bought loads of the 60 series on the 7th of june 2010 when they were released to the public,i cant put it on my new car until september the 1st 2010 thats when the 60 plate is legal and out....
its not an ilegal plate apart from a little spacing lol...
i only put it on my cls to see how it looks.

not meaningless my friend,
there are a lot of business's in the uk called pagodas, so for me i thought it was a good investment for the future...

While I wish you good luck with it , I stand by my statement that it can have no relevance to any car other than a W113 .

point taken i just thought when i bought it,it was only £799 i would always make something when i come to sell it mate,
to make you laugh i got all excited when i thought of this combination....LA6ONDA...
for the new aston martin comming out THE LAGONDA...but the dvla thought of this and held it back for auction lol never mind ehh...lol

I'd expect to get a whole , working car for that amount and not just a little piece of metal to stick on the front - usually , I don't spend even that much !

lol,,,,, well im at the other end of the scale to you mate most of the cars i buy and sell are £20k+,you know what they say, horses for courses lol

Hmmmm , £20K ..... 'other end of the scale' ...... ? Price of a pretty average car these days , if you ask me . While I have in the past spent that sort of money on tin boxes , and still could if I wanted to , my experience is that more expensive cars are no better than others bought wisely for much less money . Start talking collectable cars at six figures and upwards , then you are looking towards the 'other end of the scale' .

All of my cars would have cost the equivalent of a medium sized house ( or more ) when new , with proper maintenance still run as well as they did when new and are much more pleasurable to drive and distinctive than the humdrum stuff most people have .

Each to their own though .

Hmmmmm.

A dealer in number plates whose first thread lists plates he has for sale.

How is this different from an advertisement?

Presumably his own plate is KN08 END

mmmm, i must say that some people sound a bit green eyed monster.....
also i havent tried to sell anything on this site i know it would be taken off i read the t+c,i posted for your amusment and also i joined as i am in the car trade exporting vehicles worldwide i thought this might be of some use to me and to the forum,i own one of the biggest shipping firms in europe so please dont think im out to try and sell anything to you, quite pointless...

as for cars the price of houses ect...im not going to get into a mine is bigger than yours contest there is def no need....

any need of this? bit childish if you ask me...nice way to treat new members good luck to you...

Hang around; the forum is a great place :) There are a few things people take very seriously here, one being the law.

As such, mis-spaced plates are illegal, and many don't see the point. To each their own. Personally, if a plate needs tampering, it's not worth it imo. But again, to each their own, I'm not bashing your business. In fact, I would adore some personal plates, but they tend to go for £50k+ rather than the £50+ I would spend on them.

Let's not descent into a flame war - we're all adults.

Thanks for showing us your car, and welcome to the site.

One word of advice for postingo on the net; you may want to blank out your plates for a few reasons
- Plate cloning
- Legal reasons (i.e. there are a few members here which are also policemen. Blatantly advertising you have an illegal plate may not go down too well)

Have fun,
M.
