Hi all,

Joining on behalf of the missus, as her car is giving her grief and it's left to me to try and sort it all out. Or at least give her the ammo to take to the dealer with her for fixing! (Please check out the typical "Hi, and here's my problem" post in the technical electronics bit of the forum).

She has a nice C200 diesel coupe, 55 plate - which she occasionally lets me drive. I drive an RX8, so tend to hang out over on the RX8 owners club forum (been on there for years, was a mod for a couple).

If anyone can point us in the direction of a good independent mercedes specialist in the Wrexham/Cheshire/Warrington area that would be great, as we're stuck using Warrington mercedes at the moment for any issues!

Have tried to abide by the rules as far as I can tell!

Thanks for the welcome folks!

We have called up MB Tech in the past around MOT time (have lurked for a while and saw them recommended), and they quoted more for the service and MOT than the dealer (the Warrington one just off the M6). And the dealer gave me an SLK as a courtesy car (yep, it's me that normally sorts out the servicing for her as well!).

Will have a look at the other one - am happy to travel a bit if it's on a good recommendation. Preston way is probably on the cusp of too far, but do-able.
