House Insurance

I wonder if there any Home Insurance experts here. Over the years I have amassed a large amount of tools and equipement (from restoring vintage tractors and cars) which are kept in a gararge attached to the house. It is alarmed and covered by CCTV. Most house insurance policies I have come across seem to have a limit on garage contents, in some cases it is a percentage of the amount the house contents are insured for. Does anyone know of a house contents policy which doesn't have a limit on garage contents? Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated. By the way I live in a low risk area.

If it was me I'd go to a traditional insurance broker and get the to bespoke the policy with some underwriters.

My tools and equipment are kept in the same place as yours and I just agree a set value with my insurers to cover this, my garage too is alarmed and covered by cctv and the additional cost to the policy is fairly negligible and I too am in a low crime area for burglary, maybe this is a route you could take
