How do I fix this

Probably in the wrong section but has anyone had this problem with their door handle?
I'm guessing it's a pain to replace, door trim off etc

You don't need to remove the interior door trim in order to remove the handle...

Haven't removed the whole handle but had to remove the part where the key goes to repair the IR sensor. Screw inside the door is a bit of a fiddle but otherwise quite straightforward.

Mercedes are the easiest handles to takeout it will literally take you 5 minutes YouTube it.

Ok thanks, I'm feeling a bit braver now, I'm guessing an eBay second hand part will be the way to go?

Yeah if you haven't got any cutting compound use a bit of toothpaste it will take them finger nail marks straight out and leave it smelling minty lol.

The last two owners (5+2years) were lady drivers and as such there are lots of fingernail marks under the handle!
