How do I remove rubber door strip? W202

Could anyone tell me how the rubber strip detaches from the bottom edge of driver’s door? It looks as if it should slide off? or dose it pull downwards or do I need to remove door card to release it.

It looks to me like mushroom heads where the head pops through the hole

Some one else must know,, if it is this way then a little washing up liquid works wonders

I am thinking is number 47 a clip for holding that on ??

Me think’s the same thing, someone will have taken it off and hopefully post how to do it.

Ive taken many off & fitted.

They are held on by 5-6 plugs that fit inside tiny white plastic 'teeth'.

Slowly do one at a time, (no doubt most of them will break) by gently but firmly pulling downwards until they pop free.
