A year or so ago my 2017 C350e thought the charging cable was still attached after I'd unplugged it, but it fixed itself after a short while. The same thing happened again a few days ago (after the snow) and I noticed that the green "charging" light was flickering dimly. Re-connecting the plug was normal, but removing it gave the same result - it had fixed itself when I next checked.
I'm interested in how the car detects the presence of the cable. Is it a physical switch (that might be sticking)?
