...to swap over 124 saloon seats into the 124 coupe.

being that the back rest of a saloon seat does not tilt forward to let passengers in..

Virtually impossible I would say!

Don't the seats themselves have a carrier that attaches to the seat rails on the floorpan? Perhaps the trick would be to transpose the 'carriers' from the coupe seats to the saloon seats. You might find these are the same.

If not drill a few new bolt holes and keep an eye on whether the respective carriers are the same profile and will move along the seat tracks.

i had 500e seats in my coupe.

rear entry was by electrically sliding the seat fully forward.

it was not very good to be honest, but i thought i wanted the 500e seats, then realised i didnt... sold em to jay in the end.

so from experiance, it can be done, but it isnt a good mod.

oh nearly forgot, they are a straight swap onto the electric bases of the coupe, no drilling, no messing at all.

thanks guys!

not a good idea just going to have to wait for coupe seats to come along as i want to do the elec conversion, was thinking i could have swapped bases!
