Howard, make sure you complete the Grandad-tronic from Mercedes with a Towbar and those tiny Orange reflectors for the edge of the doors.

You need those huge, chunky rubber things that slide onto the door edges to prevent chips but look ugly and promote rusting. Optionally with reflectors on.

Mudflaps stop stone chips. What do you think causes corrosion on the rear of arches and the bottoms of sills and doors..

They will look fine and do enhance the appearance of a lower stance. Just ensure they are wide enough to cover the rear tyres otherwise they look daft.

I think they finish the bottom of the arch off nicely , and make the car look chunkier from behind ...

You could get the arch extensions that the SLK's have..... just a thought. They're not the same as the ones on the W202 AMGs.
