My 230TE was registered on the 1st October 1991. It has mushroom leather and an electric sunroof but no A/C.
Can anyone tell me what the dealer price for this would've been in 91 brand new and what that converts to in money today?
    TIA......

List price for the 230TE in March 1992 was £26,180; I would guess that leather and sunroof would have added about £1500-£2000, so about £28,000 + OTR charges.

According to the Bank of England's inflation calculator, that would have been equivalent to £46,900 last year (the most recent year it can calculate).

A 4pot 212 is so much cheaper, safer, better to drive, faster, better equipped and more efficient. The new cars are a bargain
