How the hell do you get off winder handle W202 ??

Ive got Council windows in the back and need to take the door trim off but buggered if I know how to get the sod off !!

Don't know how Merc handles are secured, but a couple of suggestions.

Is there an insert in the handle which clips out to reveal a screw?

Does the actual door card push back away from the handle to reveal a spring clip which can be removed by hooking it with something and pulling it up? (I had this type on a car few years ago and made a hook out of a wire coat hanger). The spring clip is then replaced into the slots in the handle before knocking it back onto the winder spline.

Or maybe a pin through the handle which is concealed by the handle collar.

well as it turns out ive sorted it. I looked at all of the above with no luck but as it turns out the whole black plastic bit over the chrome just slides of to the side and the handle just pops off - simples when you know how !!!
