A simple question perhaps, but I need some help/advice.
I have a set of winter alloys/tyres I purchased from my MB dealer last winter, they put them on for me and my local fitter took them off.
Now, as winter is approaching I'm thinking of doing the swap myself this time around.
So, how do you jack up a W204 C Class? The local fitter used a trolley jack on the jacking point - I've read that's not ideal. Has anyone had problems doing this? There is an insert for the jacking point available in the US that provides a flat surface for a trolley jack to push onto, it seems a good idea - anyone have one?
Thanks, and I apologise for the simple nature of my question - I just expected to find a flat area under the car and there isn't one!
PS - for those looking into winter tyres I just bought a set of alloys and tyres from Tyremen.com for my wife's XC90, they came next day and seem very good. Obviously they're not on yet but the service from Tyremen was first class.
