How to turn up the volume on sat nav voice instructions

Is it possible to increase the volume of the spoken commands given out by my Mercedes sat nav. LATE 2017 E CLASS - When I am inputting the instructions before I set off the ladies voice is nice and loud and clear - But once I set off and I'm driving along I can hardly hear her ??? This is quite frustrating - is there any way to increase the volume of the ladies voice as she gives me directions - UK driver.

On mine I use the normal volume controls but only when the instructions are being given out, so wait for her to start talking then turn up the volume.

Hmmm , that was one of the first things I tried but it just kept turning the radios volume up - BUT Maybe I wasn't quick enough - I will go and give that a try right now

Or you could press the button to get the lady to repeat the last instruction while you are prepared with the volume adjustment.

To be fair, I use the function to turn the voice off, I find it annoying when on.
