How to upload image into thread

Can anybody advise how to upload a photo from my album into the thread rather than an attachment. iPad friendly would help also.

Open a Photobucket account..and post the pics from there. There is no limit...and the pics will be nicer.

Use a photo editing programme like irfanview to resize before uploading to Photobucket. Don't think photobucket allows you to resize within the programme.
