HPI or another vehicle check?

Is an hpi check still the best used car check or are they much the same as the alternatives such as AutoCheck and My car check?

I would have thought that all these check companies pull the information from the same sources.

police, insurance and DVLA data come from the same source, things vary as to how they interpret and display the data. Finance data is supposed to be shared either between companies or sent by finance houses to receiving databases. HPI and Experian you would class as source, CDL car data check are not 100% complete but nigh on 99%, most others are resellers.

So HPI or Experian would be your best bet.

Please,can you help me with an hpi check?The reg:LR 03 CHC,mercedes,2.1 diesel.The VIN number has been checked by me and it`s saying error with a number.
The guy is saying to me to have an hpi check on 25/06/2010 and rge reff the hpi check is:7323-565-2573.

Please,I`m trying to bay this car.
