spotted this spell binding classically beautifully very rare Mercedes convertible (1971 280SE 3.5 Convertible) at Hairpin .. no price!

But too good to be driven on the filthy crappy roads here in Blighty! :D
 
When I saw this a little while ago, I thought the same "I am in love". Stunning car and one of two they have available!

Until recently, they even had a 124 E320 Cabriolet with only 15,000 miles on the clock!

The Hairpin Company always have some stunning machinery passing through their doors!

My friends got one of these although it isn't a soft top. It simply doesn't have a roof. Doesn't even have a hard top. Very odd I thought, looks amazing though.

Presumably some sort of conversion? The standard M-B ones are all normal convertibles.
