Right, just a couple of things here....

Firstly, the little badly, flimsily made roller switch down the side of the front seats, what's it for? :o I don't have the manual as I forgot to take it from the garage :wallbash:

Secondly, I see that some later cars have different seats to mine which don't look as good IMO. Is this just a revision or are they part of an option?
 
Some sort of lumbar/orthopedic support?

Has it got three buttons with it?
If it hasn't then it's the lumbar.

Yours should be a later one as it's a 1997 it will be or should be a facelift model, the seats will be standard accross the range with the exception of the twin tone nappa leather option.

Ah, seems likely enough. I can't really notice it doing much but I'll look again today.

That makes sense about the leather too :)
 
The switch or the motor might be broken, you should feel the back of the seat getting harder or softer was you move the little wheel.
