Anyone has any of those old style bolts?

Thank you.

I have no option there. Cannot afford a set. This is why I need 2 of those.
Cheers.

Hi Olivier.
The bolts I sent you are the standard 40mm bolts - See pictures.
These fit the standard alloy wheels on my E300TD.
I did not know that anyone uses the other type.
:(
Keep the two I sent you.
If I need them, I will contact you.

Very sorry ... I only have the 40mm standard bolts and a set of the short ones for the steel spare wheel.
I use 2 of the steel wheels for my snow tyres.
I'm just now fitting them this afternoon.

No worries John,
Thank you very much anyway, that was nice :)
All the best.

I very much doubt that would cause balance issues... could be wrong but i doubt it.

It did , at the front the wobble was dreadfull. I put them at the rear wheel now but don't feel comfortable with this set up. The car don't feel right on the highway.

You have another problem I can guarantee you... its not the length of the shank on the bolts causing the wobble...

What bolts did you use, did they have enough thread on them to hold the wheel tight to the hub. Some have the first part unthreaded like in Johnscos picture which wont work with some alloys that have a thinner centre bore.

If you say so Olivier - Running on different alloy wheel bolts on the same wheel has never upset my estate. My brother's 210 was bought with the locking wheels nuts obviously removed at some stage and different sized alloy nuts in where they were to the rest on each wheel. No problems at all on balance or running.

Hi Jay,
I just swaped the shorter bolts 2 days ago ( put them on 1 rear wheel) and just today try it on the highway. The sterring is now nice while before it was scary, but the rear now feel odd.
This just show me that the weight difference at high speed is enough to create unbalance on the wheels.

When a set of wheel bolts is £41.... I'm unsure as to why this can't be done... that is less than half a tank of fuel - where safety is concerned cost cutting isn't worth it.

well, if you were in my shoes you might find out that 41 pounds might not be an option at the moment. But we are not here to talk about finances, I am just asking if anyone as 2 spare one, that's all.
And 41 pounds give me over 4 full tanks by the way...

PM me your address Oliver I have two of the bolts your require. Be aware though they are threaded all the way to the shoulder tho, so not exactly like the one in the photograph.

They are 3 inches long in overall length. They came off my sons 190D.
