icarsoft MB v2.0 icarsoft "vehicle database does not have license file error"

Hi all, I followed the instructions to update my icarsoft MB v2.0 device at the weekend and now when I plug it in I get the "vehicle database does not have license file" error. I've emailed icarsoft but judging by previous peoples attempts at contacting them I'm not holding my breath.

So does anyone have any advice they can share with me as to whether there's a fix please?

I have managed to get help from icarsoft in the past. Not the quickest people when it comes to replying to emails, I think the lady who got back to me was called Lilly Bong ?
 
This message usually implies that the product is not genuine. Is this the first time you've tried updating the software, or have you successfully done this before?

First time I have tried. I bought it off a member on this forum and it seemed to work when I plugged it in soon after I got it.
