On the car in my OP photo:

Don't think it's AMG, or at least not all AMG.

Side skirts do look a bit clunky.

It has wheel arch extensions. Was that a Zender thing?

I've seen similar arch extensions on a Zender-built 500SE estate.

Hard to tell and depends if it is AMG but more important what AMG dealer built it.
Depending on the location of build, the body work could vary greatly.
AMG Japan and AMG USA tended not to always use the AMG kits as they were poor fit and finish.
AMG USA Central in Westmont Illinois fabricated many of the parts from ducktails to wings in sheetmetal as they didn't like the fit of the PU or fiberglass panels.

looks like a lorinser/zender kit to me well the rear bumper does anyways as i have the same on my sec. i also have some original lorinser side skirts both are up for sale.
