idle on 300td

can this be adjusted mine runs at 550 / 600 and get some vibration, when they replaced the throttle cable they said it was preset and car,t be adjusted , is this true, if not how would it be done

No adjustment. It can be set by using either MB or Bosch diagnostics computer.
