Hi all, I've noticed recently that when starting the car from cold it will tick over at about 1000rpm until the brake pedal is pushed at which point the revs drop to about 600. If the brake is released the revs will then climb back to about 700-800rpm. I just wondered if this was normal behavior? It's an '02 w210 220 cdi auto by the way.
