Interestingly there are a couple of low mileage E55 W211's on pistonheads at the moment. It seems that AMG's are falling in value lately. I spotted a 2004 C55 at Croydon Mercedes with 37k on the clock for £22,200! Its gone now.

I'm sure you can really afford it! :D Go on....... go on. go on, go on.

Buy it and I will reseve you the place of honour at this year's GTG and I'll throw in discounted parking :D

I would not even comment over the primer paint jobbies.

I must confess to REALLY liking that model.

Do they do an estate version? :p

Regards
John

I would expect that all big engined cars are becoming depreciation nightmares with the fact that most people who can afford to run them can also afford to buy them new. It's a different prospect buying a 10-20yr old third car plaything to do 2000 miles or so a year in, than to buy an E63AMG and run it for 18mths and 30k miles...

Crikey, that's insanely cheap - especially for an MB dealer!! Shurely shome mishtake? Even at £32,200 it wouldn't be a bad buy for a 2004.

I have just sold the house :) so the funds could be available but I think my family might get more than a little upset if I spend a significant lump of the equity on a car! Now if I was single then this thread would be titled 'Here are some pics of my new car!'

John, you know better than to ask if there is an estate version!;)

As for resale values of the more 'everyday AMG' models, they seem to be plummeting. The C55 prices will drop further I'm sure when the C63 comes out later this year:devil: I think a lot of people are put off the 55's because they think they will cost a lot to tax but this is a myth as its only those registered after 23rd March 2006 that will get hit! I think the 478BHP E55's are an absolute bargain , especially the sub £25k ones:eek:

The cheap C55 at Croydon was a mistake, apparently it should have said £27,500. Me thinks they accidentally put the trade-in value in the advert:rolleyes: Anyway, its not available anymore apparently.
