There’s too many inconsistencies for my liking – the first thing the title says is “02”, the description says 2000/2001 (we now know it’s a mid 2000). I also think it’s a bit weird the way it says “average mileage” over and over again, the top block states “90” (so you would imagine 90K) but buried in the description the mileage is 105K.

I also wonder if there’s a problem getting MB to fix the rust - Why wouldn’t the owner have had it done? MB may say it’s been left too long.

Quite right - avoid this car is my opinion too. I have a W220 (albeit a more recent one) and they are brilliant cars, BUT they have to be in well-maintained and cared for state and this one clearly is not.

The bodywork is in appalling state, it has above average mileage and the advert is sloppy, sometimes incorrect as well as contradictory.

The MOT is from Dec 06 and shows 103K or 105K mileage. So, it must be already above that. If now it has only 105K as the advert says, then why has it done almost no distance since that time... ?

There are a lot of much, much better W220s out there - this one is a waste of money in all likelihood...
